BAT in Game Design and Development

This Bachelor of Art and Technology (BAT) in Game Design & Development at the Utrecht School of the Arts is the only course in The Netherlands which focuses completely on the development and production of multimedia games.
As I had academic relationships in France, I was very curious to get in touch with local academic community here in The Netherlands. I trully believe that teaching is a challenging and effective form of research. That motivates my curiosity for academic projects. I discovered this very unique and interesting cursus while starting to work at the Game Development Departement of Upper Deck Entertainment in Weesp. By chance I started to give Ludology courses in February at Hilversum and by so I was able to see how it works from the inside.
The contents from the Ludology category of this blog are mainly based on my teachings and projects for students. My teachings are projects oriented, I applied an iterative approach to teach game design through experimentations, practice and design explorations...
